Happy Holidays
Once again, we find ourselves wrapping up a year unlike any we’ve lived before. We’ve Zoomed into depositions, brushed off our suits as the courts reopened in the spring and celebrated being together again with the return of our Fall Family Fun Fest. Through it all, we’ve worked hard to serve our clients and take care of our incredible team.
2021 Tale of the Tape
Here’s our sixth annual “Tale of the Tape,” a look back at 2021 highlights.
- $24,000,000 recovered for our clients (give or take a few $)
- 60,000 miles saved by not driving to the office and court
- 1045 zoom hearings, depositions and meetings (we’re also back to logging those miles for our in-person obligations)
- 643 new client relationships – we’re honored!
- 550 attendants at the 2021 Fall Family Fun Fest!
- 356 pounds of food donated through our food drive for the Columbus Kids Summer Cupboard

- 140 clients referred by friends, family, and peers – thank you!
- 56 recoveries over $100,000
- 52 pets with new homes thanks to our partnership with LifeLine Animal Project
- 24 hours spent in Iceland by Arman
- 9 new team members – 7 staff and 2 new associate attorneys – welcome, David Gastley and Shelley Payne!
- 1 new board appointment – Arman is joining Ahimsa House’s board of directors, supporting an organization dedicated to helping the human and animal victims of domestic violence reach safety together
- 0 medical malpractices by Dr. Shea
The unsettling feelings from 2020 stretched into this year for sure, but we also felt so much hope. We loved the opportunity to open up more, see more clients face-to-face and take in some Braves games with our crew. We felt more motivated than ever to give our clients a bright spot during a challenging time, and we took our responsibility to our staff seriously. We also decided to double-down in our giving—connecting to our community more than ever through local charitable partnerships.
