Leah Hahn, a case manager with Litner + Deganian, was born and raised in Atlanta. After earning her degree in reproductive health policies from Hampshire College in Massachusetts in 2018, she made her way back home. She’d worked in restaurants and as a research assistant at Emory, but she felt like law could be a possible career path. Instead of jumping right into law school, Leah decided to see if the work was a good fit and earn her paralegal certificate instead.
After applying to Litner + Deganian, Leah joined the team in March 2019. Today, she helps manage the needs of the firm’s clients and attorneys, talking to insurance adjusters, police officers, and medical providers, as well as filling out plenty of claims. “While every day is different, I enjoy the amount of contact I get to have with the clients,” said Leah. “It’s also a relaxed, fun environment, and it’s just easier to work in an environment like that.”
When she’s not at work, Leah volunteers at the Women’s Resource Center to End Domestic Violence, practices kickboxing and visits with her friends. At home, she takes care of her 4-year-old grey cat, Earl.
