Megan Gornto is an Operations Coordinator with Litner + Deganian. She works on a variety of projects during the day, including researching and implementing efficiencies, improving internal programs and platforms, and making sure that everything is going smoothly with the law firm’s vendors and event coordinators.
Megan is an Atlanta native; she grew up a few minutes away from the Litner + Deganian office, in Atlanta’s Virginia Highland neighborhood. Her interest in law began at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where Megan was studying media science. During that time, she also took a few law classes — and discovered that she enjoyed working in the field of law.
After graduation in 2018, Megan relocated back to Georgia, and a close friend told her about an opening at Litner + Deganian. At first, Megan worked as a legal assistant. Then, in November, she was promoted to Operations Coordinator. She enjoys the law firm’s casual and comfortable atmosphere, and that the staff is down to earth, approachable, and always willing to help each other learn and grow.
Outside of the office, Megan likes to draw, paint, and cook — she’s currently perfecting her recipe for red lentil soup. Megan also loves to be outside and always enjoys a good walk.
