Ramon Diaz is a legal assistant with Litner + Deganian, helping the attorneys and paralegals manage the needs of each client’s case. Originally from Mexico City, Ramon has lived in Atlanta for 19 years, growing up here and graduating from North Atlanta High School.
Ramon also attends Oglethorpe University, where he studies Biopsychology. While working as a server and bartender, Ramon began seeing job postings with personal injury firms. Because his mother was once involved in an accident, Ramon already had a sense of how the personal injury process works on the client side, making him a strong candidate for Litner + Deganian.
Since joining the team in April 2019, Ramon assists with all manner of office business, including preparing letters of representation, following up on medical records and performing balance checks. If the attorneys or paralegals are preparing for a trial, he’ll focus his attention on that.
Ramon enjoys the office’s friendly environment. “If I have questions, I know the door is always open,” said Ramon. “The staff is also diverse—it feels like the real world.”
When he’s not working or attending class, Ramon relaxes by playing video games, checking out friends’ and coworkers’ book recommendations and re-watching his favorite horror or action movies. He also keeps up with public health news, follows politics and volunteers at local schools to help students with college readiness.
