Litner + Deganian Resilience Scholarship Award Terms and Conditions

Eligibility Criteria:

• 18+ years of age
• Currently enrolled in or accepted into an accredited university in Georgia (must provide transcript or acceptance letter PDF)
• Pursuing any degree (undergraduate or graduate)
• Must follow all L+D pages on social media

Application Process:

• Applications must be submitted online by Friday, April 11th
• Required documents include:
  • Proof of Admission/attendance at an accredited GA school
  • Transcript
  • Online Submission of Essay
• Incomplete or late applications may not be considered.

Selection Process:

• Scholarship recipients will be selected based on essay completion, applicants ability to show determination, grit, and resilience in the face of adversity
• The selection committee/judges’ decision is final and not subject to appeal.

Scholarship Award:

• The scholarship amount is one-time award to two students. The first-place winner receives $1,500 and the second-place winner receives $1,000.
• Funds will be disbursed directly to the recipient’s educational institution for tuition, fees, books, or other educational expenses.
• Recipients must provide proof of enrollment before funds are disbursed.

Responsibilities of Recipients:

• Use scholarship funds for educational purposes only.
• Notify the scholarship provider of any changes in enrollment status or personal information.

Termination or Forfeiture:

a. The scholarship may be revoked if the recipient fails to meet the terms and conditions.

b. Misrepresentation of information or violation of rules can result in immediate forfeiture.

Publicity and Promotion:

• Recipients may be required to participate in publicity activities related to the scholarship.
• The scholarship provider reserves the right to use the recipient’s name and likeness for promotional purposes.

Modification or Cancellation:

• The scholarship provider reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the scholarship at any time without prior notice.

Legal Compliance:

• Recipients must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Agreement to Terms:

• By applying for this scholarship, applicants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
